On Saturday, Apollo Astronaut and first man to set foot on the Moon, Neil Armstrong, died from complications following cardiovascular procedures. He was 82.

Armstrong and his mission were celebrated in... unique fashion during last year's Doctor Who season opener, "The Impossible Astronaut" and "Day of the Moon", during which his famous 'landing' speech proved instrumental in saving the entire human race.
Rest in peace, First Man on the Moon.
